Who you are

You are an experienced Talent Acquisition people-manager that excels at driving team engagement and results. You are process-oriented and creatively think of solutions that set the team up for success as well as scalability. A big-picture thinker, you also are comfortable getting into the weeds and doing the work needed to meet team goals. You are goal-oriented. Comfortable with Talent Analytics, you leverage data to tell a story and get buy-in from key stakeholders on initiatives as well as educate them on the Talent Acquisition process.

You have a proven track record of success and 4+ years working in tech and 1+ years of people management experience. We’d be super impressed if you have led a technical recruiting team.

What the role is

In this Manager, Talent Acquisition role, you will be the functional leader of TA and an integral part of building the team to support company goals. You will have 4 direct reports (1 role is currently open) and be responsible for supporting each team member on meeting their hiring and developmental goals.

You will set the tone culturally by building team connections and rally the team as we work towards ambitious hiring goals. You will be a player-coach to start by owning your own reqs so that you can lead by example and model behaviors for the team.

In this role you will:

  • Track metrics and leverage data to drive team performance and improve overall recruiting efficiency. You will use data to identify key opportunity areas and target talent initiatives
  • Manage the team and support each of them as they work towards their hiring goals and developmental paths
  • Partner with key stakeholders as they work through their organizational design and ensure our Talent Team is equipped with the resources needed to meet hiring goals
  • Report-out on pipeline statuses and proactively manage challenges the team is facing to remove blockers and ensure the team is set-up for success
  • Help diagnose and coach Talent Partners on their current searches

Our office is also currently located in Newton, MA with an anticipated move date to Boston this coming December. We currently have limited capacity in-office due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are currently accepting candidates who live near or are looking to move within the commutable vicinity of Boston, MA. This job will start remote but be expected to be in office when the new location opens to foster collaboration with team members and fellow Stavviators.
